La Hacienda's Red Bourbon selection highlights our three processing methods, each of which singles out a unique flavor profile of our Red Bourbon variety.

Washed:

The washed process emphasizes our coffee’s true character by letting the clarity of the bean speak for itself. This allows the complexity of its growing conditions to shine through—a true taste of volcano coffee.

Natural:

The natural process is a traditional form of coffee processing celebrating a comeback to the scene. It involves drying the coffee beans with their pulp and skin, which offers new and unique flavor touches.

Honey:

The honey process produces a taste profile that can be placed between the washed and natural processes, combining a mellow acidity with gentle fruity notes.
